My Philosophy

As a Science teacher, I need to be more creative while doing
Teaching and Learning process
in school. before that, I must study the pedagogy and must
use a lesson plan to facilitate
student learning which covers a standardized curriculum.
I am not only teach them only the
concept, I believe that I also must to build and
empower them the soft skill,
communication skill and life skill to make sure my
student is in a line that parallel
to National Education Philosophy. To be a good
teacher, I must have a good relationship
with my student. I hope that once I arrived at school,
I will becoming a good and best teacher.

insyaAllah..

Simulation And Modelling

Last week, Dr. Sopia had introduced to all of us about simulation and modelling in Teaching and Learning process. A simulation of a system is the operation of a model of the system. The model can be reconfigured and experimented with which usually is impossible, too expensive or impractical to do in the system it represents. Meanwhile, modelling is the process of producing a model which is model representation of the construction and working of some system of interest. A model is similar to but simpler than the system it represents. From this topic, we had given a task to find an example of simulation and modelling that are interactive and fun and represent it.

From all the presentation of simulation and modelling, I can conclude that it is simple and easy to understand for the topic, situation can be seen clearly and we can see the relationship of manipulated variables to responding variables.

Let’s use some simulation and modelling in Teaching and Learning Process.

Here are some simulation and modelling that we found interesting and fun.. Let's try..

Interactive White Board

Interactive White Board is same like traditional white board which we can write something on it. But the more interesting about IWB is it is a touch screen white board which we can play a game or fun activities during Teaching and Learning Process. The uses of IWB may include :
  • Running software that is loaded onto the connected PC, such as a web browsers or proprietary software used in the classroom.
  • Capturing and saving notes written on a whiteboard to the connected PC
  • Capturing notes written on a graphics tablet connected to the whiteboard
  • Controlling the PC from the white board using click and drag, mark up which annotates a program or presentation
  • Using an Audience Response system so that presenters can poll a classroom audience or conduct quizzes, capturing feedback onto the whiteboard
During the class, everyone is so excited and all of us get the opportunity to use it. As a conclusion, we can say goodbye to the dusty chalkboard and use it during T&L process.
